# Talk to our team

The fastest way to get to a clear answer about whether FinchTrade fits your business is a 30-minute scoping conversation with our team.

## What we cover in scoping

A typical scoping call walks through:

**Your use case.** What you're building, what crypto features you need, who your customers are.

**Your current situation.** What you have today (existing platform, existing licences, existing exchange relationships), and what's missing.

**Your timeline.** When you need to be live, and what's driving the timing.

**Your volume.** Projected monthly turnover and trade size profile, both starting and at scale.

**Your jurisdictions.** Where your business is registered, where your customers are, and what regulatory regime you operate under.

**The fit.** Based on all of the above, which of our solutions (if any) fits — Managed Liquidity Infrastructure, Embedded Crypto Liquidity, Regulated Crypto Access, or none — and why.

If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you. We'll also tell you what kind of partner you should be talking to instead, where we can.

## What to bring

To make the conversation efficient, please come with:

* A short description of your business and what you're building
* An estimate of your projected volume (monthly turnover and typical trade size)
* The jurisdictions of your business and your customer base
* Your existing licences and authorisations, if any
* Your timeline
* Any specific assets, currencies, or corridors you care about
* Any specific questions about our framework, custody, or commercial terms

Detailed answers aren't required upfront — the call is partly about figuring these out together. But rough answers move things faster.

## Who you'll talk to

Initial scoping calls are typically with a partnerships team member who handles the conversation broadly. Where the use case is technical, we bring an engineer. Where it's regulatory or structural, we bring our compliance team. The goal is to have the right people in the room from early.

For Regulated Crypto Access scoping, calls usually involve more people because the structural questions touch multiple disciplines. We'll bring the right team based on what you tell us upfront.

## What happens after the call

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Clear fit

We follow up with a specific proposal — pricing, structure, integration scope, timeline. From there, you have what you need to evaluate against alternatives.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Partial fit

Some of your needs match our scope; others don't. We follow up with a proposal for the parts we can serve and recommend partners for the parts we can't.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Not a fit

We tell you directly and explain why. Where possible, we suggest who else to talk to.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

We aim for the answer within a week of the initial call, sometimes sooner.

## Booking a call

To book a scoping conversation, contact us through one of:

* Web form on [finchtrade.com](https://finchtrade.com/)
* Email to our partnerships team
* Direct contact through your existing referral if you have one

We typically respond within one business day with a calendar link.

## Other ways to engage

For partners not yet ready for a scoping call:

**Documentation.** This GitBook covers most of what we'd cover in an initial conversation. Working through it before booking a call usually saves time.

**Detailed questions by email.** If you have specific questions that don't need a full call, email is fine. We'll respond and offer a call if it would help.

**Referrals from existing partners.** Existing FinchTrade partners can often answer questions about working with us from their direct experience. We can introduce you on request.

## Where we don't fit

To save time on both sides, a few cases where we'd direct you elsewhere immediately:

* **Retail-facing products in restricted jurisdictions** (UK, US, EU). We don't serve those segments, and our framework doesn't extend to them.
* **CASP-required activity in the EU.** We are not MiCA-CASP authorised. If your activity requires CASP, you need a CASP partner (or your own authorisation), not us.
* **Activity outside our VQF authorisation regardless of jurisdiction.** Some specific activities don't fall within our authorisation; we'll tell you upfront.
